Team building activities


Activity programs specially designed to promote team spirit and teamwork. They also help in improving communication between company employees.
According to our extensive experience in organizing such activity programs, substituting the word “I” and “them” with the word “we” in any team’s vocabulary has the most immediate and spectacular effect on the team’s performance.
For quite a few decades now, all human resources managers all over the world include team-spirit enhancement activities in their yearly schedules.
Scoutway can offer an extensive series of such activities. Many different kinds of teams can benefit from our activity programs, such as:

  • Teams of same-level executives (for instance department managers, board members, etc)

Experiential Training Programs

A few decades back, executive improvement and development has been based on traditional training methods. A new trend appeared a few years ago in the USA. This trend combined training with the growing need to return to nature. This new method gave the trainees the chance to experience teamwork in natural surroundings. The cooperation and communication models taught this way are later transferred to the trainees’ workplace. Very soon, Outdoor Management Training, as this trend was later called, was transferred to Europe.

We organize outdoor programs that will entertain and recreate, that will improve internal communications, that will reduce negative thinking and that will prepare your people to accept the central training concept(s) .

Recreational Programs - Corporate Identity Development Programs
There is no professional team that has not felt the need to meet outside the workplace, usually to have a drink or dinner at a nice restaurant with or without partners.
This out-of-office contact is always positive, as it promotes the feeling of belonging to a team, so it is almost always sponsored by corporations.

The negative of these night-outs is that they usually promote communication between people already familiar with each other, and do not favor contact between people working in different positions, finally giving minimal results.

Scoutway can organize meetings for many employees or even for the whole workforce of a corporation, accompanied by their families.
These programs are purely recreational and include different activities for everybody, as well as children activities.

Such programs can be implemented anytime of the year, on any corporation’s special days, such as:

  • Company founding anniversary
  • A big corporate success
  • During a low business season (for instance in the summertime)


Company Bonding Programs (for chain-store corporatio ns)


Having already worked with such companies, we are familiar with the need to spread company culture, as well as to promote the feeling of belonging to a team, therefore feeling safe and happy.

Although the importance of the development of these concepts in the improvement of the company’s performance is recognized by all, the decision to implement such a program is usually postponed due to “technical difficulties” (time needed to organize such a meeting, time and place to implement the meeting, cost, and so forth).
Scoutway has designed a series of such programs.
Cooperating with the Boy Scouts of Greece (a Scoutway shareholder), we use the 52 Boy Scouts Training Centers all over Greece.
We also use all the Boy Scouts of Greece human resources. These specially trained and equipped people are our representatives all over Greece.

This way, we have created programs:

  • Implemented all over Greece in the Boy Scouts Training Centers.
  • From one to many days long.
  • Capable of adjusting to any number of participating branches.
  • Capable of being implemented anytime of the year.


Incentives


Incentives are a necessary and very important modern management tool, in the way that success rewarding is an integral part of the target-motive methods.
A “trip” is always a positive experience. Especially when it is combined with some mild nature activities, it will be transformed into an experience that we all would like to have and we will also be talking about for a long time.

Scoutway has designed incentive travels, suitable for:
